Great points.
There's some hope that adoption of EVs would itself help strengthen the electric grid. People could sell power back to electric companies out of their car batteries at peak times. https://www.evconnect.com/blog/what-is-vehicle-to-grid-for-electric-vehicles
Recycling batteries and solar panels is a challenge - but they're made of valuable materials, so the incentive is there for companies to innovate. Hopefully these are solvable problems.
